I will be staying at the Barbary Coast in March. I would like to try out the local micro-breweries along the strip. Are there any in the local strip hotels?
Best Regards, John

Are there any in the local strip hotels? Best Regards, John There is a big one on the ground level of the Monte Carlo I was in last week. Decent place. The beer was good, the food was average to above average. http://www.montecarlo.com/dining/pub.aspx miller4isu Jan 27, 06, 1:23 pm I know, I know - you said on the strip, but no trip to Vegas is complete without a stop at the Triple 7 microbrewery in the Main Street Station downtown: http://www.mainstreetcasino.com/display.cfm?id=1106 bltserv Jan 27, 06, 1:32 pm If you have never been to one. Its off strip just a couple blocks. Normally not a big fan of this chain. Gordon Biersch brewery is great in Vegas. Beer is good. The place rocks on weekend evenings. Met some really nice people there over the years. Food is not bad either. bltserv NWsilverflyer Jan 27, 06, 2:08 pm If you have never been to one. Its off strip just a couple blocks. Glass Bottom Boater Jan 27, 06, 10:29 pm Heard the hofbrahaus here was pretty lame and not authentic. If thats not true then you need to go! ^ GDIW Jan 28, 06, 10:55 am This is not on the strip - but has beers from everywhere! Here's some info from a local paper. Local Corner—Freakin' Frog 4700 S. Maryland Pkwy., 702/597-9702 You can get something to eat at the Freakin’ Frog, but this place is all about beer. With nearly 650 different brands available, it lays claim to the largest beer list in Nevada and one of the largest in the country. From imports to domestics to micro-brews—except for Bud; they don’t carry Anheuser-Busch products—Freakin’s got ’em all. Ask to see the 28-page list while you’re there, or check it out online at FreakinFrog.com. Prices are decent, with many top imports going for $4-$6. Upstairs is the fabulous Whiskey Attic, which Freakin’ claims has the most extensive selection of whiskeys outside of Scotland. Freakin’ Frog is nondescript from the outside. Look for it across from the UNLV campus, next to a big bar called Moose’s. This marks the second consecutive Local Corner that came to us on the recommendation of a gambling luminary. We found out about Freakin’ Frog via a bar-stool phone call from none other than Stanford Wong. Here's a small sampling of other local brewery's - only Monte Carlo is on the strip.
