I wonder how a 1p fare can be reduced by 2.50 to 3.50 pounds?
The online check-in is only for people with EU passports and no hold luggage, and these people who do that get priority boarding too.
I wonder how long before other airlines follow suit?

I wonder what this will mean for my Ryanair flights on the 26th & 29th March as these were booked a few weeks ago.
I'm thinking perhaps I should avail myself of the online check-in and priority boarding and snag a seat, and non-EU MrLapLap can then follow on and sit in a space I will have guarded with bared teeth and venomenous drool (we'll have just gotten married, so you can understand).

Hm.... This is a very interesting move on their part. One issue, though, is that they have traditionally been very restrictive of carry on weight. (I think 5 kg, although I am not 100% confident in this). Hopefully, they will reduce enforcement of this...

It was never 5 kg on Ryanair AFAIR. It was 7 kg when I started using them in 2000, it's now 10 kg.
