With those with Choice Hotels (and their Visa), stay 2 separate stays (2 nights, but not consecutive at same hotel) at the below, and they will top of whatever points earned to equal 8,000 points. (if you earned 5,000 points normally, they give you an extra 3,000). 5,000 points can transfer for 2 SWA Credits.
Starting February 1st, Choice Privileges members like you who stay just two separate times at any Comfort Inn®, Comfort Suites®, Quality®, Sleep Inn®, Clarion® or MainStay Suites® hotel in the U.S., Canada, Mexico or Caribbean can earn enough points for a free night on a future stay at more than 1,000 hotels. And the more you stay between February 1st and April 15th, the more free nights you can earn.
*The free night is based on an 8,000 point Choice Privileges reward night. A free night may require more points at certain hotels. Members earn points for stays when paying eligible rates. A stay is defined as any number of consecutive nights at one hotel regardless of check-ins or check-outs. Bonus points will be added to points earned from every two qualifying stays, with arrival between February 1, 2006 and April 15, 2006, to reach the 8,000 point reward level. Allow a minimum of 15 days from check-out for points to post to your account.
If you have the VISA, the charges will also get you 15 points per $1 spent, so $100 spent at these hotels = 1,500 points.
This program has run before, so not earthshaking -- but can add up pretty fast. Also with the points, you can move over the amount you need for that next award, and leave the balance in points to transfer later.
