Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - Gulf Air A340 Refurb!

I am told by good sources that Gulf Air should have their A340's refurbished in F and J classes, sleeper seats and IFE, ready for April flights. Y class will also be overhauled. It will be very much along the lines of GF's A330's which are very nice indeed. Very welcome news for Aussie FF's!

Wondering if they will only upgrade the A340's they own and not the few ex SQ A340's leased from Boeing...anyone hear or know anything?

Until then, does anyone know which are the ex-SQ aircraft - the ones marked 340 or 343 in the GF timetable?

I was also told this by Gulf Air UK about a month ago. Having experienced the A330 in both F and J I can confirm these seats are indeed very good

They will only be 343 that are refurbed as GF owns them. Ex SQ are leased and are 340 in timetable and as far as I know not to be refurbed. :)
