Great Report! I love reading reports which include pictures - the Pictures really round out the experience!! Keep it up...

I think he meant boarding passes....

I think he meant boarding passes....

That's right ACfly. Her machine had run out of the boarding cards.

Thanks for your comments. I hope that the pictures of the PHL lounge are ok. I have seen none on any website, so I hope it gives others an idea of it. First lounge was closed when I entered the Club lounge.

Thanks for clearing that up - I'm still shocked at your check-in experience though.

Great Report though - a picture's worth a thousand words and all that.

Fantastic report. I do like reports with photos. They add so much more to report.

I've had the 'This is the Club World check in' statement before as well. I don't own much in the way of winter clothes so checking in at LGW/LHR with the business types wearing a canadian lumber jacket and a pair of workboots often confuses the poor dears.

I find a reply of 'Then Im in the right place then' usually sets the little club-world-nazis scuttling off to pontificate to somebody else.

Nice report ^ Interesting you mention Royal Holloway and you are from Egham. I was 99% certain I was going there for Uni, although I turned down their offer on results day in the end. Wonderful building. One thing I do remember about it was reading in the Virgin Alternative Guide to Universities and the president of the Student Union wrote:

'Aloof Egham, the pit of cultural and suburban blandness' :D

_______

Really like the format with plenty of pics, easy on the eye!

I think we are after a picture of the PHL lounge for the www.baconnect.org.uk calendar. Could I use one of yours please? :)

Thanks
Fraser
