ATLANTA, Jan. 12, 2006 – Delta Air Lines’ customers planning a sunny getaway to Mexico this spring or summer will find it easier to reach most any corner of the vacation paradise thanks to the largest expansion into Mexico in Delta’s history. Subject to Mexican government approvals, Delta plans to offer customers flights on 12 new non-stop routes between the United States and Mexico by June, including the airline’s first-ever service to Merida. Delta has received U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) approval to serve the 12 new routes, which are now available for sale to customers. The new routes are:

Atlanta to Acapulco (April 5), Merida (Feb. 26) and Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa (April 12)

Cincinnati to Cancun (June 1) and Los Cabos (Feb. 18)

Los Angeles to Cancun (June 3) and Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa (April 15)

New York-JFK to Acapulco (March 11), Cozumel (June 3), Los Cabos (April 8) and Puerto Vallarta (March 4)

Salt Lake City to Mazatlan (March 8)
