That is what happens when a cool little tech company goes public. Google closed today at $466.80 and is predicted to go to at least $600 by the end of 2006, so they need to answer to the stockholders and produce a profit. This, I'm afraid, forces them to be more corporate in their approach. Interesting idea from the big G and could be very valuable if they were to go with a different AV (read AVG or something similar) ... |
