Was booking some upcoming stays in the Bay Area and noticed that this no longer comes up in the search results. I then went through and tried to rebook from the link in My Activity from a prior stay and got a message that online reservations are not possible and I need to call the hotel directly.

Has anyone seen this before with other properties? Does it portend that the property is leaving the Starwood system? It isn't a great hotel in my opinion, but was convenient to SJC and relatively inexpensive for that area.

This hotel left the Starwood family of hotels as of January 3, 2006.

Bummer. I just tried to book there too and found it was gone.

It appears that the entire complex is being torn down and rebuilt -- for sure the outlying buildings are already gone.

Yes, and the SJC Hyatt will soon be a 4 Points.
