Will be in Turkey for approx four months, arriving Istanbul late Jan, then spending most of the time in Alanya.

Comments/opinions on who to deal with on pre-paid mobile service while there. I have an unlocked tri-band GSM phone (Ericsson T-39).

Go to www.prepaidgsm.net they have the prices of all prepaid sims in Turkey. Compare and then decide what is best for you. Prepaid is the way to go if you are there for four months.
