American Express Membership Rewards - Membership Rewards Redemption Question

I was looking through the rewards catalog on the MR website and was surprised to see that there are no "Gas Card" redemption options. Both Diners Club and Thank You Network offer cards from gas stations. Does anyone know of a way to redeem gas cards through MR? Thanks!

No. They dont have any such partner. Get gift cards from AMEX. Sell them and use the money for gas cards.

Actually, you could redeem American Express Gift Cards to purchase (for example) Shell gas cards at Walgreens.

Unfortunately, when you redeem for Amex Gift Cards, Travellers Checks, or Cash, you lose 50% of the value of the points. The gas cards were for personal use anyways. I will probably end up just cashing some of the points in for Williams & Sonoma certificates a I have a few items I will get there. Thanks for your help though! The Membership Rewards program has an extremely poor selection of gift cards and gift certificate choices.
