American Express Membership Rewards - PLEASE HELP: Starwood promotion code on your last AmEx statement
Hello.
I hope someone can help me.
I just spoke with an AmEx telephone agent who told me that on the Membership Rewards Options Monthly Statement portion of the December and/or January AmEx bill there was a Starwood mileage transfer promotion.
I can't find my paper statement and can't see the promotion online. All I need is the 4-digit code associated with that promotion, which is usually located to the right of the promotion description itself.
Can anyone look it up and share it, please?
THANKS!

Just checked my AMEX statement and don't see anything there. I've been looking for SPG bonus transfers as well.
I just checked online this morning on MR's Travel Rewards website, and it showed a transfer rate of 999 MR points to 333 SPG points.
I tried to transfer, but the AmEx website says that it was experiencing difficulties and that I should try in an hour or call the listed toll free number. I called the number, but a very rude agent stated that despite what the website says I'm not eligible for that transfer ratio.
I am checking right now, and my website reverted again to 1,998 to 333.
Why oh why!?!?!?
999:333 is the standard rate for Membership Rewards transfers to SPG. I believe 1998:333 is the standard rate for Membership Rewards Options. Evidently your card is enrolled in the Options program and the system incorrectly showed you the other rate. This may, or not, be related to the anticipated promotion.
