Receiving mail (in an envelope not the e-type) from Flying Blue is always an exciting moment. Especially if it appears to contain something which at first touch feels like a card...
Opened it with baited breath - it contained a Flying Blue membership card. The accompanying letter explains it is a 'duplicate' card. Validity is until March of 06...
As far as I can remember, I've never requested such a card... Moreover, I've never received an original FB Card as I have the Amex co-branded variety.
Until earlier this week I had sufficient level miles to allow me to stay at Platinum level for a few more years... At first I assumed the validity to be for at least 2007 or beyond.
What did I do to deserve a 'regular' FB card? Has this happened to anyone else recently? Should I be scared? Fortunately the letter explains my pincode has remained unchanged...?!
Will obviously contact helpdesk at some point...
