I do - everytime I fly somewhere in the US that AC doesn;t directly serve. As many of us Canucks travel from one US city to the next (Iam traveling from LAX tp SMF tomorrow) finding out info about UA is quite valuable. The AC forum is where I learned about E+.

I look at UA as complimentary to my usage of AC. So yes, I will be crediting my mile to Aeroplan. But, I don't care about UA enough to follow its board so I am quite happy when someone posts a UA topic in the AC forum that is relevant to FF who utilize other *A carriers.

I agree. I fly UA quite a bit but credit my mileage to AP.

For the record... UA's debt coming out of Ch11 is rated at B+.

AC's is only a B...

That's interesting, Ollie, considering the time UA spent under protection compared to AC.

And UA used the time to trim off the fat. It will emerge as a lean company. No Pension baggage.Lower pay.Lower neg. leases.
Will be interesting to see how the stock will fly.

That is funny as a 1K on United that fly AC I feel the same way but about AC not UA/

UA and AC are very intertwined...good or bad

BTW, I noticed the moved thread on this subject. Are all UA topics now taboo? Or was the thread moved because there are others such as this one already in existence? Most of you should know I have no hidden agenda or cause to promote when posting news items so I'm just asking more for my own info than to stir anything up. :)

News is news. Our Newsstand readers will enjoy all the links. Thanks.

P.S. I don't think we posted about the Air Canada bankruptcy emergence on a thread in the UA forum at that time.
