Hi
Can anyone help me with getting the best out of my flight from CPT to FRA on New Year's Day? We are travelling on flt SA262 that departs at 0755. We have preallocated seating in 46D&E which on a A340-600 I think are baulkhead seats.
Obviously it would be better if we could get 46A&B as these would be fire exit seats but that will require checking in really early (this is New year's Day)! Do you know what time check-in opens in advance of the flight? Could we check in the night before and then come back to the airport just before the flight?
Other questions: What are SAA econ seats like, what is the in-flight entertainment system? Any advice on getting an upgrade? Do they sell upgrade seats on-board? at what price?
Your help gratefully appreciated - you may well seriously ease a New Year's Eve hangover!!! :)
