Can I enjoy the extra baggage allowance as a GF FF member without having the miles credited to my GF FF account? I would like to have the miles credited to my Virgin Flying Club account. Thank you for all of your upcoming advice :)

You receive an automatic extra baggage allowance over and above the allowance shown on your ticket, free of charge. For Blue, the allowance is 10 kgs.
