Hilton HHonors - BEWARE Hampton/Atlanta Midtown

Going to a conference at the Sheraton in mid-town, but of course want my Hilton credit. The map shows it about a 1/2 mile walk... not a bad distance, but does anyone know if it's easily accessible by foot (i.e. city streets, highway, etc)?

I have stayed at both properties and I believe it is around 4 or 5 blocks from HI to Sheraton Colony Square. An easy walk unless it is pouring rain. Also, the parking is free at HI verses $16 at Sheraton, but the Sheraton is a much nicer property in general.

:eek: Hampton Inn/Atlanta Midtown is really an old motel on the side of a 10 lane highway..I was given a handicap room with no shower or tub and the internet wasnt working..items were missing from the free breakfast..when i asked HHonors for a refund..they just told me they hope i come back to visit again..just a heads up here!

Hampton Inn has 100% satisfaction gurantee - contact Hilton customer service again tell them you were not satisfied and you want a refund.

Yes it was cheap and a dump and an easy "stay" credit, but I'm glad its gone!
