In USA Today - Today in the Sky http://blogs.usatoday.com/sky/ reports that Indy Air has sent furlough notices to pilots and flight attendants that unless a major miracle happens the airline will closed sometime between January 7 and 21. It also reports the WSJ article that UA has made a bid for some of the assets of Indy. The guess is for gates at IAD.
Say goodbye to the lower fares and special promotions out of IAD. The good news that will help UA survive as a stronger airline once it exits bankruptcy.
