Hi all, quick question...Does JAL have an arrivals lounge, specifically at JFK? As far as I know, they don't operate any anywhere worldwide, but maybe this has changed. Barring this, does anyone know of an arrivals lounge anywhere at JFK that one can use (BA Gold (so Oneworld Emerald), UA Premier (so star Silver). We are flying in on JAL biz class. Thanks!

Steven

AA still has an AC outside security in terminal 8- if you and a guest were departing any OW operated and marketed flight you could access the lounge and use the showers and have continental breakfast. You could also buy a day pass for $50 plus $25 each for a second and third accompaning visitor to use the AC.

The AirTrain can take you between JL at terminal 1 and the AA terminal 8&9 stop, where it is better to use the tunnel at the base of the escalator into the terminal than to descend to the ground level and have to cross several lanes of vehicle traffic and hike a distance to enter terminal 8.

JAL operates arrival lounges at JFK? Sorry, I've never heard of them. Besides, there may be only 10 ~ 20 connecting passengers on JL006(excluding code-share), JL048 as well. So...I doubt it.

Get to the transit counter in the T-1 of JFK and count it....You'll find out ;)
