MilesBuzz! - LAX-HNL $461 early April on AA

Quick question to those that fly this route frequently. Is this fare normal? or would you expect it to drop after Christmas.

United is only $390 San Fran - Hawaii for a few off peak dates in December.

lakerbb-this is a decent fare at that time of year...I fly this route every couple of months and have paid more during April.

I know Moderators are leaving pretty well all things alone right now, but WHY isn't this in the AA Forum for goodness sake??????????

Sorry, but I am in agreement. This type of post goes in either "Mileage Run" or a specific airline board. As the originator is asking about American's pricing structure, I would normally transfer it there. Chances are he or she would get a better response from the AA experts. However, as the systems administrator, Dan, just posted, the AA board is misbehaving. So this time I'm going to just leave it alone.
