Delta SkyMiles (Pre-WorldPerks Merger) [closed to posting] - Delta should upgrade first class from PHX-SLC-TPA-ATL-PHX?

Hi all,

I just wanting you know about that can I have upgrading me into the first class from PHX-SLC-TPA-ATL-PHX? I am already booked the ticket to TPA on January 22. So I am already have class T with all the flights. So can you give me specific information from Delta. I will get toward to silver next year in 2006. So can you guys need help with me about upgrade into the first class and is that for the unlimited for free? Thanks! :)

If you make Silver by the time of your flight, you might get an upgrade. Otherwise, no.

N830MH, if you are already Silver you need to request upgrades for each of your segments. This is done by logging into DL.com with your Skymiles number and then selecting Request Upgrades from the Itinerary page. If you are not currently Silver, once you make it, call Delta and have them re-enter your Skymiles number so your reservation shows your new status. At the same time, they can add your upgrade requests.

Once that's done, it just a waiting game. If seats are available, you will clear 1 day prior to your flight. If seats are not available, you will have to play the "gate lottery" which means upgrades are handled at the departure gate.

That was very helpful at Delta and this mean I doesnt have silver yet for this time. But, I will able flying more on DL. I will talk with Delta Employees at PHX or called Delta reservations about upgrade me into the First Class. How much does cost for upgrade me into the first class?

Your complimentary upgrades will be good for travel to cities like Bogota, Caracas, Lima, Panama City, San Jose, and more."

No Medallion status = No free upgrade.

You can upgrade YBM fares for 25,000 miles.

Day of Departure upgrades are sometimes available for purchase per segment if all Medallions have cleared. Price varies with segment length.

Or you could always pay to purchase an A fare. That's the only way to be sure of an upgrade.
