Nice facility with all the exercise equipment including sauna and whirlpool. However, there is a charge for use, I believe it was $35 or something like that. JerryGuitar Dec 14, 05, 1:25 pm you'll find machines that work your right bicep all over the place. :D If you use two-machines next to each other, you can do it in tandem like an elliptical. MIKEM Dec 14, 05, 8:22 pm My biggest gripe about Vegas is that all the hotels charge for using the fitness center. It's usually $15 per visit and up. I refuse to pay it. To work out, I get the MP3 player on and go into the stairway/fire escape and run up and down the flights of stairs. One heck of a workout. kingalien Dec 15, 05, 12:18 am Another thing to do is to jog or briskly walk the strip in the morning. Not many people around before 8:00 am even on weekends. Quite refreshing and when you get tired, stop at a breakfast buffet. :p escog Dec 15, 05, 10:39 pm I've used the Luxor's fitness facilities, and they're not bad. Lots of cardio machines, as well as, the basics for weights - both free weights and machines. Lots of televisions, complimentary towel service, fruit, snacks, drinks. They usually have free passes for some deals on their website, as do a number of strip properties. Otherwise, it's like $20 per 24 hour period. Off strip, the Hard Rock has a very nice gym. Lots of machines, free weights, rock climbing wall-type thing, heavy bag, etc... Most casinos include access to the fitness facilities if you also purchase spa services. If you have membership with 24 hour fitness, there are a number of locations in Vegas, including one at the airport. Martinis at 8 Dec 16, 05, 6:34 am We drive over to the 24hr gym since we have the any club type membership. The hotel gyms are a rip-off. M8 luxury Dec 16, 05, 12:43 pm I would imagine that the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas would not charge for hotel guests to use fitness facilities. The _Banking_Scot Dec 18, 05, 8:12 am Hi, With Status at Hilton ( Silver & up) you get free access to the spa and fitness center. The Luxor/MB offers sometimes include 2 for 1 or a free spa pass. The hilton Embassy suites will have a free fitness center ( albeit they are off the strip) Regards TBS 365RoadWarrior Dec 18, 05, 10:01 am Hi, With Status at Hilton ( Silver & up) you get free access to the spa and fitness center. TBS Unfortunately, the opening hours are terribly short. I heartily recommend a membership at Las Vegas Athletic Club. $35 gets you a week and a half-dozen locations. Another alternative that I rather like - though not responsive to your particularl inquiry - the Summerlin Hampton Inn has a deal with the local Golds Gym. Both LVAC and Golds are 24-hour. |
