Appears to be the classic hook'em promotion to get you to sit through a multi-hour sales pitch for timeshare. If you have the stomach for it, knock yourself out.

From their eye-numbing "terms and conditions": (bolding is mine)

Promotional packages including a resort preview are sponsored by some of the newest resorts in the area. These packages are subsidized by the resorts and are offered to you at a highly reduced rate in order for you to preview one of the newest resorts and take a look at their vacation plan in hope you will vacation with them in the future. There are certain qualifications associated with these offers and qualifications vary from resort to resort. Your credit card will be charged the subsidized rate to Leisuretime.com for your vacation package. Should you fail to attend the tour in its entirety or fail to qualify, your card will be charged an additional $250.00, which is the minimum difference in price of your package.

"Fail to qualify" could be as simple as: You're a single person and they want couples only for the timeshare presentation. That's very common - the sharks assume that even if hubby can be stubborn enough to resist two hours of high pressure to sign a contract, wifey might be "reachable" - or vice versa. So, if you arrive alone, they might throw "you don't qualify, pay us $250 or more" in your face.

I don't know. Do they spam other websites?

Assuming you have the sitzfleisch to endure a four-hour high pressure sales presentation in return for a dubious deal, I would offer them $99 in cash -- and would not give them my credit card for any reason.

They would have to pay me to stay at Circus Circus or Sahara. I'm not familiar with their third choice. Rooms are too inexpensive in Vegas to be required to listen to a sales pitch just to pay an average rate.

The third choice is Boardwalk, which ceases to exist in February. It's probably the best of the lot for its location - which is why MGM Mirage is demo'ing it to make way for a new mega hotel and three smaller boutique hotels.

For $99 a night, you can often stay at places like Aladdin, Monte Carlo, Ballys and Harrah's, all on the Strip and close to most of the action. Even Venetian can be had midweek for $99 sometimes on Priceline.

Well it didn't look that bad
It seems to me that the package ist 99 for three nigths ot two nights
>>>
Midweek: 4 Days / 3 Nights
Weekend: 3 Days / 2 Nights

PLUS: • $500 in Real Casino Play
• 4 Show Tickets
• Buffets
• $1,000 Fun Pack.
• 3 days / 2 nights future vacation accommodations to over 15 top resort destinations. A $300 value.
• Discounted activities available
• Discounted extra nights available
• Rooms subject to availability
• Certain rates apply
<<<
but I won't do it. My problem is that I will be in the area between 03/26/06 and 04/26/06 for 2 nights and couldn't find a good deal for me, especially not for the Alladin, where I originally wanted to stay.

No problem; let us be the cynical ones. :D :D :D

Here's what cynical me sees in each of those "not bad" lines:

PLUS: • $500 in Real Casino Play - what kind of play? Slots only? Some weird version of casino war or pai-gow that has the odds stacked against you? Do you have to contribute $500 of your own money first to get a $500 credit (that's common)?
• 4 Show Tickets - what show? When? What's the seating like? Celine Dion or Freddy, the incredible color-matching Tupperware comic?
• Buffets - You can get these at home. They're called Country Buffet. Believe me, only about three buffets in LV are any better.
• $1,000 Fun Pack. - I'd bet $1,000 that you'd end up using about $10 worth of the restricted, useless coupons in this pack.
• 3 days / 2 nights future vacation accommodations to over 15 top resort destinations. A $300 value. - And another timeshare presentation required to attend, I'm certain. They want another chance to hook you.
• Discounted activities available - as they are everywhere in LV.
• Discounted extra nights available - as they are at many hotels in LV.
• Rooms subject to availability
• Certain rates apply

Denver Brian is right on the money! All of the special "benefits" are just valueless gimmicks that anyone would find without this package. The room rate is high considering the properties to choose from. Companies like this thrive on naive people that have never been to Vegas and think they will get something for nothing.

I do think I've seen Freddy, the incredible color-matching Tupperware comic though and he was quite good.

You should see what he can do with purple and turquoise. :D :D :D
