Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - Is there a stand-up bar in C on SQ

I am travelling in C from LAX to SIN next month and was wondering if SQ has a stand-up bar in the C cabin? Thanks.

By default NO ! but I might imagine the A345 from LAX to SIN does have a cornered stand up bar.. to enable us to flirt with the cute SQ girls. This privelege is not transferrable to the SQ Boeings.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if they had a bar like on the Virgin flights.

I've always wanted to fly a VS flight to merely check out the upper class bar..
soon enuf; SQ compensates that bit with DOM and PIPER bottomless.. too in F
better tasting when drinking at an incline.. haha

You guys have been watching Flightplan (Jodie Foster) huh? :D Sorry to disappoint you, but no, SQ does not have stand-up bars in Raffles Class on the A345. There are Passenger Areas in both C and Y on these aircraft, but you won't get anything beyond cookies, muesli bars and fruit. Sad to say, the one in Y is much better, simply due to the fact that it's been carved out of a corner at the back of the plane, so it has all the space it needs. The C one, in contrast, is simply nothing more than the usual galley sandwiched between two cabins. Have a look at the A345 seating plan and you'll get what I mean.

The A345 passenger areas referred to are both right next to galley. In my experience, as long as not a busy time the FAs are more than happy to serve you drinks or snacks or whatever if you ask for it.

SQ used to have stand-up bars on some of their B744 Megatops (i think about 10 yrs ago) but have since scrapped it.

Are you talking about the one in F? These existed only on a couple of later delivered 744s. No bars in C ever IIRC.

I forgot whether it is in F or C but i have seen a picture of it in SQ's Outlook magazine many years back.
