See topic Ploblem with LOTPolish Airlines (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4911206) .

LOT doesn't want to refand more then $75 for $831 ticket, saying that they issued the paper ticket (they have no etix equipment), they need to pay commission their rep, etc. even that I'm a subject of cancellation fee.

It looks like an airline can sell ticket, cancel flight, and make huge profit.

You have already received the answer to your question in the other thread: write to LOT demanding full reimbursement under Regulation 261/2004 EC. If no success, you may want to contact the Polish enforcement authority and/or the EU Commission or start legal action. Details of EU legislation and contacts for enforcement authorities can be found here (http://www.europa.eu.int/comm/transport/air/rights/info_en.htm)
