In an effort to encourage travle - any chance the hotel programs would have discounted award nights?

I know, I know - greedy - but then, isn't that what this forum is all about?

The best strategy is to send email directly to hotels in NYC and ask them. Even national and international chains allow local managers to offer deals. Sol Melia, Holiday Inn,Crowne Plaza,Hyatt have given deep discounts post Sept 11 in SJO/NYC/HKG
