Las Vegas - Bachelor Party Suite ideas-- anyone???

A friend of mine is planning a four-day-long bachelor party getaway in Vegas and wants to book a suite for five for six guys, which will serve as the "command center"--so to speak--throughout the four days.

Apparently some of the bigger suites in Vegas cost $9000 a night. This is too much money. Anyone know a place where you could get the "feel" of a posh suite, but for no more than $200 per person, per night?

Thanks!!! :D :D :D

Posh suite for $200 in Vegas

How about the Embassy Suites :p

How about the Palms, sure you can't afford the NBA suite, but there are certain rooms (brass poles) that would definitely work for a bachelor party

Are you willing to go downtown? Penthouse suites at Golden Nugget run about $300-500/night IIRC... very nice, 2 stories, master bedroom upstairs (with mirrors on the ceiling ;)), living room, web bar, 1 1/2 baths (important).

Stayed in one.... was comped up from a $59/night room ^

Uh, $200 per person times 5-6 people equals a $1000 to $1200 per night suite. I would think there are many nice suites in LAS that can be had for that kind of cash.

Thanks for the ideas. The Golden Nugget is definitely a good option. Rio is another one that my friend is looking into.

One problem has been the fact that many hotels reserve their fancy suites for high rollers-- ie. they don't even take reservations.

Take a look at this thread about the MGM - you might want to check the rates for their suites

Thanks for this tip. This is expensive, but knowing the type of people (young MBAs) who will be partaking, this may be exactly the kind of thing they're looking for.

The two bedroom loft is awesome at $2800 per night...

You didn't say when, but the SkyLofts go as low as $600/night depending on season. That would also be cool for the future groom to be picked up at the airport in the Maybach.

Since the OP is considering a Sky Loft I’m sure Embassy Suites is not in the running, but a few years ago I went to a Bachelor Party where we stayed at the Airport Embassy Suites and everyone had a great time. Some of the guys were on a budget and did not want to spend all their cash on rooms, plus it was a busy weekend in Vegas. We were able to get 4 suites for about what 1 suite at the Venetian would have been. It was across the street from the Hard Rock, next door to Club Paradise, a block from the Haufbrau House and a five minute shuttle ride from the strip. Throw in the free breakfast and manager’s reception and we have everything we could ask for.

We onced stayed at their Jr. Suite. 1 1/2 bath. Nice size living room. I think it was around 200 USD.

Just planned one of these myself. We ended up at MGM, but a couple of options I discovered:

Flamingo has a great suite deal and they'll get you the ajoining room. Aladdin has the Panoramic Suite (think that's what it's called) with a view of the strip, fridge, wet bar, hot tub, bigscreen TV, etc. It was like $2K for the weekend. Then there was the Venetian. We looked at a few adjoining rooms (since all rooms are suites) and that was our second choice.

Oh and if you don't mind staying down from the main strip, Stratosphere has great suites in the tower for a good price and the Hard Rock has very cool suites when they are available. The Palms' Playpen suite is the coolest in Vegas, but not cheap. Then there's the Real World suite...

Go for the SkyLoft

I have stayed there a few times now.
Going back in Jan, for the CES and AES shows.
3 nights. Booked it in May!
Best suite in Vegas by far.

Get the 2 Bedroom suite. Hook up with one of the concierge
people. They will Maybach your party from the airport.
Limo you around town. The service they provide for anything you need
in town is second to none. Shows, Restaurants, Spa, just ask.

If you are wanting to go first class and have the "MBA" types
in tow. This is the place for you. Guaranteed !

Enjoy !
