How do you get 2000? It says only 1000 points per account

There is a difference in what it says and what it does. And, a Hilton rep on FT reportedly said that going for the 2000 is "OK." (confirmation, anyone?)

Note that you have to use the special URL shown in the first message for this to work.

1000 points per MEMBER, not per account...I get 2000 points simply by completing the update twice, cause I have a mutual account with my partner...don't know if this is the same situation as other FlyerTalkers...

I got my 2000... in only one single account.

Thanks for the reminder. Last 1\4 I was only able to update once for 1000 points. This time it let me update twice within 5 minutes and I received the full 2000 points.

Somehow I stumbled on the thread that started this all a couple days ago. I signed up and got all 3,000 pts (1,000 sign up and 2,000 for updates). Now, this!

A quarter change. Okay, just went there and updated again. I now have 5,000 pts! And, I haven't even stayed there and its only been 3 days.

This is better than signing up with MCI.

It's also printed on the front of your HH statement.

Last quarter I tried that link twice and never heard back. A phone call to the service center, and 2 minutes later I had it.

Last quarter I worked fast and was able to get 4,000 points in less than a minute, but a few days later all but 2,000 had vanished.

I have been doing this each quarter, ever since I joined FT (middle of last year, I think). I was just wondering if anyone remembers/knows when Hilton first started giving HH points for updating their profile?
