(sigh)

I was JUST about to book a room (W New York) at "Best Available" rate $169 (i.e. fully flexible, etc.) for a King (or perhaps $229 for a suite) on SPG.com. (14-16 Jan)

The site then failed on me for about 15 mins (I think it's a cookie thing), and now it's gone to the Winter Special or whatever, which has a Queen at $169, prepaid and non-flexible.

Oh, well. Timing is everything in this game.
