Budget Travel - 7 MYR bus and train KUL to Sentral (2 hours)

I was inspired by the post about bus travel from LAX to SAN so here is my addition. If you are looking for the cheapest way from KUL to downtown you can head to the bus station in the airport on the lower level. There are several options but the cheapest is to take the bus that goes to NILAI, it costs 2 MYR (you pay onboard) and takes about 45 min. It takes you next to the NILAI KTM station, then take the KTM train (direction RAWANG) into Sentral or beyond for 5 MYR (you pay at the station) and it takes about 70 min. It's an interesting journey and traffic isn't a problem as the bus portion takes place way out in the suburbs and then you take the train. The same journey on the KLIA express costs 35MYR or an airport taxi is 70MYR, these both take about 45 minutes into town.
