IS there a way to recharge my Tmobile Germany account in the USA? What about Telia SE? I need a local EU number for a short time, and my accounts are running low.

Thanks

Why go through the hassle and expense? Vonage and other VOIP providers will give you local EU numbers just about anywhere. http://www.voip-info.org , that's everything you need to know. Alternatively, why not ask your Iridium provider if they can give you a DID in Europe?

Good idea on VOIP. I have a vonage account, maybe I can get a EU number to forward to my us mobile. as for SAT phone the phone number is expensive to call. Would be nice for folks to call/text me on a local number for them. Anyway thanks for the advice.

There are charge cards from t-mobile which work fine for menu based recharging in the US. As well, t-mobile has an online recharging site, cash and go, I think and you can recharge with a bankcard, credit card or funds transfer right online. The Euro are on the account immediatly.

right now, if you do reloads up till the end of January, 2006, they give you a bonus for doing it online. 10 E for 50 E charged. 5 E for 30 E charged

SkypeIN can also give you EU numbers for 30 Euro per year.

You then have free voicemail, and you can also enable forwarding if you want. IMO, it's by far the least expensive solution, especially for very light usage.
