Budget Travel - Vail Cascade Resort and Spa. 5/20-5/22 $129 not bad

Well not really great. But it is quite good compared to normal rates. About 25% of average rate for the resort.

As this property does not earn points or miles, I'll move this to Budget Travel.

Note that this is the first time I've moved something to that forum, so it may not end up living there permanently, as we work to resolve where the appropriate place to live for some of these threads that have traditionally lived in MR.

hmmmm...maybe if it were a hostel. not real sure. if its a good deal maybe it will fly. but ill confer with others with the fate of this thread. i would think it would be ok. maybe a master thread on good deals that would not normally be in the price range for budget travelers. what do others think?

Given the mounting complaints about the dilution of the original intent of MR, I think it would be a good idea to create a new forum for Great Lodging Deals such as this. This would ease the "burden" of skipping over them in the MR forum. I would hate for TravelGuy1965 to stop posting his remarkable finds, they're terrific!
