I've arrived in Incheon Airport Town. It is a science fiction movie. This six square street "town" was built to service transit passengers (lots of small hotels, convenience stores and restaurants) and to provide a drinking hole for airport workers. It is bizarre. It's like an airport - but outside, with streets and cars. It's inhabited by zombie airline passengers and zombie Korean workers. Did I mention it's x$@*#'ing cold? I just returned from a ten minute walk and have seen it all. I escaped back to my hotel room which is like a 90's electronic nightmare. There's a vending machines in the room that offers a "beer and jerky set," collagen, more jerky, a "honeymoon glow in the dark condom set" a peach and something to drink called Pocari sweat. There's a sterilizer(?), some other piece of equipment that I cannot identify and an electronic toilet. I thought I was flushing it and all of a sudden a stream of water hit me in the face and began to flood the room. Fortunately there was nothing in the toilet. I had to drench myself and start hitting buttons in order to shut the damn thing off! This is the most bizarre place I've ever seen. I'm just killing time until the bar/restaurants open at 6:00 p.m. I'll go back to the airport as early as I can tomorrow and just wait it out.
