Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - GF Y-Class on A340 (A & B Version)

I know why fly Y-class but I needed a cheap one-way fare from FRA to SIN (via BAH) and GF in V-class came out a winner (ca. Euro 400,- incl taxes/fees). Now I'm wondering if anyone has experience regarding best seats in Y to choose on the following flights.

GF16 FRA-BAH - A340 (version without in-seat monitor)

GF148 BAH-SIN - A340 (version with in seat monitor)

Also, the transfer time in BAH is just 45min and my feeling is that this is a bit tight coming in from FRA, but GF ticketed the connection without any problems. Has anyone experience with such a situation in BAH on GF? Will GF accomodate if I misconnect? What can I expect?

The connection is quite tight, but 45 minutes is legal and if you miss the flight GF will accomodate you. However, you will have to wait 1 day in BAH since the flight only operates once a day. They **might** hold the flight for you if the delay is only 10-15 minutes primarily because many people from your FRA flight will likely be connecting to SIN, and GF don't want 20 or 30 people to provide hotels for

Thanks sadiqhassan. I have now seat 27B for FRA-BAH and 46C (emerg exit) for BAH-SIN. Bulkheads were all taken already or blocked for that matter.

I know about the one daily flight only and really would be "miffed" having to spent a whole day in BAH. Won't they rebook you onto another carrier, e.g. via DXB on EK or SQ or ??? For a whole day on the ground I would expect somewhat more than just a hotel night regardless of the fare class. Well, I keep my fingers crossed that things will work out. Cheers ...

You will be given some compensation and a hotel night. However, unless you ticket it endorsable (which is unlikely) you will have to fly GF.
