I actually got Bellagio for $159 - this is just for reference - interested in the others just in general - ever been at the Artisan? I don't mind saving $100 or so, but I want to visit the best at least once.

The Artisan is in a rather seedy neighborhood. I would not consider staying there.

Can you recommend some cheaper places that are decent for sleep time
only? I would love to see a true STAR rating system - *****.***** best
but most expensive, *****.* best for least. I am looking for a decent, cheap
1 or 2 star!

www.cheapovegas.com has very complete descriptions and ratings for each property.

If your plans are to gamble and see the sights on the strip you can usually find a bargain rate mid-week at most of the strip properties. The rate you have for Bellagio is great.

www.travelaxe.com also has ratings and rates to search. Each hotel has a website of it's own where special packages and rates are offered as well. Some allow you to sign up for their "frequent gambler" card on line which can also provide special offers.

I believe I just saw a post for the LV Hilton on the Hilton forum advertising $49.00 with other benefits.

to cancel the Bellagio - sounds like more snobbery than luxury and that's not what I will pay for. Thanks for the tip.
