InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - Crowne Plaza

I booked 2 rooms in crowne plaza brussels under my priority club platinum and i have few questions:

1. Can I insert a 2nd name in the booking just incase i will not show up and a friend of mine can use the 2nd room and maybe invite another to use my room reserved instead.

2. Will I earn points for this stay?

3. Will 1 get room upgrade?


This is a prepaid stay anyway and its pity to cancel :-(

Not sure about Q1. With regards Q2 I have also earned points on any other rooms that I have booked and more importantly paid for.

With regards Q3, thats upto the hotel. Maybe worth while doing a search on the forum and see if anyone has managed an upgrade at the hotel. I have stayed at the HI Brussels airport (not really at the airport) not a bad hotel.
