Air New Zealand Air Points - Burning AirBucks in Europe

I am trying to spend some air$ on intra-european travel. According to http://www.airnewzealand.co.nz/airpoints/spending_airpoints_dollars/flight_rewards/star_reward_redemption.htm I can spend the bucks/points on a trip under 2000km within Europe for A$180 each way in Economy. Can anybody suggest how I can check availability without calling AirNZ and going through every available destination / schedule combination, ie what booking class do Star Alliance redemption seats show up as online?

There have been various posts about using the Air Canada Aeroplan award booking search - see this post (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showpost.php?p=4561409&postcount=2) for example.

There is a slight possibility that AC's available award inventory on European *A carriers is different to NZ's, but it's not all that likely.

Note that redemption amount is per flight segment. So if looking to visit, for example, eastern europe from UK could be up for double or triple that amount (due to need to go through WAW/FRA/MUC/VIE hub).
