Alas, the day has regretfully arrived, SWISS membership in Asia Miles will end on 10 April 2006. Last day to earn and redeem miles for LX flights will be April 10th; award flights valid up to 10 April 2007.
I hope CX will resume HKG-ZRH-HKG since a codeshare with BA via LHR is not an appealing solution.
BTW, last day to earn miles on SAA is 31 May 2006 and the last day to redeem for travel on SA is 1 July 2006 with travel valid up to 1 July 2007.

If award travel on LX using AsiaMiles is valid through 4/10/07, with LX leaving AsiaMiles on 4/10/06, after the 10th, who do I call if I need to make a date change to an award reservation for travel in December 2006?
Do I call CX or do I call LX, or will I even be able to make any date change (subject to space availability) after 4/10/06?

Any ticket issued by Asiamiles will still be handled by Asiamiles.
So for your award tickets on LX or SA, you'd still call Asiamiles for changes.

OW partner Finnair is sligthly faster than BA via LHR. Outbound 1 h 40 min faster and back from ZRH to HKG is 25 min faster. Then again, Finnair does not offer first class and the service is not as good as that on Cathay Pacific. There are just three or four nonstop flights aweek between HEL and HKG during the summer season.
