I am taking a trip to Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania in February 2006. I had orginally booked tickets with Kenya Air but last week they called and told me that the flight I was on was cancelled. Which really isn't a huge deal since I've got plenty of time left to rebook. However, in order to get my refund I have to mail back the orginal tickets and wait 2-3 months just to get them to process it and send me a check! :eek:
So now it looks like my only air option is Ethiopian Air from Addis Ababa to Nairobi (which is $100 more than my orginal tickets). Looking around the website I see they have a Miles program, SheebaMiles. My question to all of you readers is - Do any of you have any miles that you won't ever use? I would pay for them to be transferred to my account. At this point I don't know if this is even possible, but it's worth a try.
Anyone know if there is a hotel at the Bole Airport in Addis Ababa? If not what's the closest hotel available? Thanks for any info! :cool:
