Air New Zealand Air Points - Need Help Plannig a Trip on Air New Zealand

I have about 280K United Miles. I want to plan a trip for our 10th Wedding Anniversary to New Zealand (Auckland) then stop over at Tahiti (Bora Bora)using my miles for Business Class seats on Air New Zealand.

Any recommendations or different locations.

I would be flying out of SFO.

If you want to visit Tahiti you'll need to go via LAX. Tahiti is nice (real expensive), and many other south pacific islands are also nice.

The number of miles required and any routing restrictions will depend on the rules of United Mileage Plus.

When are you looking at travelling? If its this (northern) winter, then extremely unlikely to find 2 business award seats together.
