MilesBuzz! - Got no miles cause I was not on Manifest?
When I noticed a NW trip I had taken in November hadn't shown up on my FF account, I began tracing it. After much checking I found that I hadn't goten the miles because I did not show on the manifest and that the return portion of my ticket had not been used. (I know I got home...sure didn't walk.) Well not getting the miles is one thing but my husband would have been very disappointed not to get my insurance had the plane crashed. I had the ticket stub so I can work it out, but it is a little scary. This ever happen to anybody else?

It happens all the time. It's going to happen more now that there are so many code-share flights out there. You may just have to get used to it.

Punki,
Simply mail the boarding passes with a short letter to Northwest Customer Service. The address is on the back of your mileage statement or email me if you need it.
mail the COPY of the boarding pass (or at least make a copy for yourself).

Here in the US, NW has had or several years a toll free number where you can key in your ticket number, and they will credit you mileage for the flights. United airlines also recently has a toll free number for this purpose.

Mine was listed on the top right side of the Mileage Plus statement Sep 25 to Oct 23. I do not know if this is a private elite number or not, so I will not list it here, but you should be able to get it from United Mileage Plus.
for UA flight numbers with UA as carrier (no code-share) an email to mileage-plus (on their website) was always sufficient: ticket number, flight number and date, name, mileage-plus-number.
It was always confirmed in 3 working days and appeared then on the next statement.

Guess I wasn't clear. Makes no difference what I show or say---according to airline records I wasn't on flight. They say "TICKET WASN'T USED". They want me to use that ticket. Like I didn't exist

Punki: The situation happen to me 3 times last year. All when I was flying connections and on international flights. I sent the stub in with a short letter and things work out. Like I said, get used to it and let your husband worry about if someone with a private jet is flying you around. :-)
