Travel Technology - Older PALM with WiFi to check email etc ?

Hi....

What is the oldest Palm that I can buy with built-in WiFi ?

and how well does it work to check emails , flyertalk, ebay etc ?

I want something cheap because I will destroy it or lose it .

Something I can buy used on ebay $100-$200 range

Anyone using a Palm now to do the same thing ?

The only Palm's with wifi (unless you want to buy a sled or wifi card) are the Tungsten C and the Tungsten TX. The TX is newer (in fact, it came out this month) but you can probably get it cheaper than you can get a T|C. The retail price of a new TX is $300, so if you wait a little while, you'll be able to get one in your price range.

The older palms (some of them) supported a add on wifi card.

The TX can now be found for about $250USD retail and its brand spanking new.

Wait a little bit and you'll get it for 200USD
