Hi. I've searched this forum for these questions and cannot find them.
I've never bid on skyauction in the past but I have thought about bidding for some upcoming trips/vacations and have some questions:
1) On the airfares: how open are the "open" dates? I know you can't pick the blackout dates, but if I want specific dates within the allowed period, are my chances close to 100% that I will get them?
2) I know you don't get them with priceline, but do you get frequent flyer miles with skyauction?
3) If you win something and then cannot use it for any reason, do you still have to pay the taxes? For example, I might bid on some of the airfares if I can get them really cheap. Then if I cannot find a date to use them, would I still have to pay the fuel surcharge, etc. since I am not actually on the plane?
