Hi all,

A couple of minor snippets:

* Today (31 Oct) the third 74R, NBW, comes out of the hangar. It has the premium tray table upgrade, which will be retrofitted to SUI and SUJ during scheduled maintenance.

* Yesterday a new economy menu cycle was launched, along with new dishware.

* Inflight retail will be introduced to northbound Japanese flights, starting today. This is mainly targeting the Japanese tradition of gift-giving, rather than duty free alcohol and cigarettes.

Welcome back and many thanks for that airnzboy,
It is much appreciated by many in this forum. Just a few questions -

I take it that NBW does indeed have the new LED lighting system in the premium cabins ?

Is it possible for you to confirm that once the 777s are on the SFO route that these 3 74R aircraft will be put onto all scheduled NZ1/2 services ?

Afraid I can't answer either of those questions at the moment :o . Will see if I can get confirmation and post here.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does this tray table upgrade entail (bigger table, stronger table, the fact that there is a table...)?
