Does anyone know if GF offers paid upgrades from Europe to bahrain at the airport uppn checkin, subject to space, and how much does it cost??

Hi Eireman,
I suspect that the answer to this is yes. They do it on flights from the GCC to other destinations. I suspect the price is entirely dependent upon the route. Also, I suspect they will only do one class upgrades for cash. I have done this before with GF and LH. Works quite well. Sometimes you even get credited for the upgraded class. Never tried to go up two classes, though.
Report back to FT on your success. I guess that an upgrade from LHR to the GCC will cost 250 Pounds.
This of course is all speculation since I have no facts to base this on...
