I have looked at fares ex Canada to AKL on NZ travelling in BP for November and March.
November fare price is C$8883, March price C$10443, this is a C$1560 fare hike or 17.50%.
Is demand for the new product that strong, or is NZ creeping the pricing of it's new product closer to the old F fare price?
At that price, I would likely suffer AC's piece of sh!t 767s and go via SYD using upgrade certs. I am more than willing to pay extra to fly the better sched and equipment that NZ has to offer, but not a userous amount.

You might want to consider flying YVR-HKG-AKL vv. on CX.

Certain YVR asian travel agents can get you a "D" class fare for around CAD 7000.

Air NZ originally described Business Premier as a First Class product at Business Class prices.

It's turned out that you pay a First Class price, but only earn Business Class points for the privilege!
