ORLANDO -- The inaugural Hooters Air flight from Scranton, Pa., to Orlando International Airport was briefly diverted and searched on the runway Thursday after a passenger was overhead making an "inappropriate comment."
The comment was made in Scranton as a morning-radio disc jockey was broadcasting from the plane on his cell phone, Hooters Air President Mark Peterson said.
The comment, the specifics of which weren't available, was shouted by another passenger and heard by officials inside the Scranton airport who were listening to the radio, Peterson said.They worry about an "overheard" comment yet let this guy yack away on his cellphone?!?! :confused:
