Air New Zealand Air Points - NZ5 LAX-AKL - May 2006

Thanks to everyone's advice here I was able to change my business class reward reservation to NZ5 (11:30pm-744) from NZ21 (7:45pm-763) (LAX-AKL) in May 2006. I had to keeping checking the aeroplan website everyday until something opened up.
Can anyone confirm that this is going to guarantee me the new business class or at least increase my odds?

NZ5 will almost certainly be operated by refurbished aircraft by then. I'd say you're pretty safe.

I can guarantee that has increased your odds - because your odds of getting the new business class on the 763 were precisely zero! ;)

Thats a good way of looking at it.....Either way at least I don't have to endure a nightime stop.. :)
