Huh..
I thought it might be two nights and then a cert for a free night anywhere, but it looks like it will be two nights and then the third night is free. That kinda sucks - I've got two two-night stays at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur and the Hilton Kuching, but can't extend either stay for a third night

Thanks. I was spacing out for some reason.
I did try to book the Tokyo Hilton from the site and, naturally  , the "asian free night" was unavailable despite being offer on the "asian free night" promo.
I guess I will try later and see if comes up. I didn't actually book but it appeared that I could have booked Seoul and Beijing. I will need both so will try tomorrow to make it work.

Great Promo, but unfortunately I cannot use it...
Have three stays in Asia coming up soon.
Stay 1) Will be with Sheraton
Stay 2) Will be at Hilton, but only for 2 nights
Stay 3) Will be at Conrad, for three nights. Small chance of changing to Hilton, but the Conrad is supposed to be a lot superior.

I was able to book three nights in the Seoul Millennium for 3 nights. The rate was called "Visa 3rd night free".
Not able to book: Singapore, Beijing, Tokyo, Hanoi. No idea why as the site leads me to them...but when I try to book..it says no "Asia Free Nights"

Tried a variety of dates for the Guam Hilton under this promo (It's in the list of "Participating Hotels"), but all I get is "Please note that the Visa 3rd Night Free rate you requested was not available" even when I put in dates for times I know the hotel is sure to have a low occupancy rate.
Either very few rooms are allocated for this promo, or else the dates have yet to be loaded for this property.

(Slightly OT>>) I have a couple of nights booked at the SIN Hilton (not 3 for 2) in early January. My son just got back and said that it was still under construction and that it did not look like a good place to stay right now.
I wonder if anyone has an update on the end of the construction?

Nice one Savage25. I was already thinking of uses but then who pays some of these rates? USD 145 at the Hilton SIN? The rate I'm paying there is less than that figure and it is in S$. Not so enticing for me then. Thanks though.

In early Sep the Duty Mgr told me they will finish in Nov, but better to reconfirm if you want to stay there. I would say Jan '06 is safe but one never knows.

Been a few month since I was last at Hilton in Singapore but the renovations won't change the fact that the building is at least 20 years older than the Conrad. Just did a quick check online and it is S$230 for Conrad and S$240 for Hilton. Free night or not, at this price, I would choose the Conrad anytime. Also, unless you get upgraded, standard room at Hilton is fairly small. The main advantage of Hilton is that it is in a better location that Conrad, unless you are there for business and need to be in the Suntec area.

I have been able to book the 3rd night free in Seoul and Beijing..but still nothing in Vietnam or Singapore.
Actually, I just had to cancel the Seoul as I am only there for 2 nights now.
Strange that the other cities don't work. It has been over a week since the promo came up. There has been enough time for the list to be edited if some properties are not participating.

I stayed there just this last weekend and it is almost completed. They were painting the outside of the building but no major noise due to construction.
I wish I could find the S$240 rate for the Conrad since I'll be back there in Dec. The rate I came up with was well over S$350 for the Conrad and S$250 for the Hilton. The Conrad doesn't offer the 2 for 3 so I'll stay at the Hilton again. For a three day stay, the difference in price is:
Conrad - USD $808.00
Hilton - USD $184.89
Unless someone can tell me it's worth the difference in price, I can't see paying that much more for the Conrad so I'll just stay at the Hilton again. Very nice lounge and staff upstairs.

Must be due to the dates. Not sure your exact travel dates but I'm looking at a 3 night stay from 19 to 22 Dec at S$280 per night for Conrad, while for some other nights it is at S$400 or more!
One way to beat the hilton.com system is to always check your room rates based on a one-night stay. Unlike some other hotel chains where the system automatically notes a rate change (I think Marriott is one), if one of your 3 nights are on a higher rate, the whole booking will be based on the higher rate. In such situations, I will just make seperate bookings based on the different rates. When you check-in, just inform them that you have seperate bookings and they usually do not have a problem linking the bookings so you do not have to check-out and recheck-in.

I called HHonors res and they could not get it either. I am wondering if they rate was not loaded for all of the cities on the list.
I was just thinking the same thing. Of course, the one Asian country I'll be visiting in '06 doesn't count.

The current stay I have does have two different rates. The weekend rate then it changes to the weekday rate. I was able to get a better rate for the Conrad so I will be staying there this weekend. I really wanted to stay here over the Hilton so this is my chance.

I tried booking 3 nights at the Hilton Phuket and it seems to be charging me for all 3 nights:

Rate per Night (THB) 11800.00
Total for Stay per Room
Rate (THB) 35400.00
Taxes 6619.80
Total 42019.80
Also, if I were to stay for 6 nights, does it charge me for 4 or do I have to book 2 seperate stays?

Per Hilton website "Please book your entire length of stay. The one free night will be credited to you at the hotel. " So the Hilton Phuket will credit you back one night at check-out, I believe. Also, per Hilton website "Offer is limited to one free night and one room per cardholder per stay." Therefore, you need to break the 6 nights into 2 stays (i.e. check out after 3 days, stay somewhere else for 1 day, then check back in again for another 3 days.
