Do Marco polo members get credit towards elite status on domestic AA flights on I,C,A,F class ) and other one world members? I just recently been an AA Emerald ( yesterday :) ) and a green card in Marco polo, Can I use my future CX flights to be credited on my Marco polo account but use my Emerald status as a Priority in upgrading and accessing F class lounge lounge?

Yes to all your questions. The best way is to put your AA EXP number in the reservation initially, and then get the number changed to the CX number while you are in the lounge.

thats cool to know that marco polo members get credit towards elite status from other one world members even with AA domestic flights in USA. I will surely do that. It's just that marco polo you have to have 120k vs. AA's 100 k right to be a diamond and Emerald. I just reached 105k this year with AA :)

Not exactly..

With AA, you can go from zero to 100K and reach EXP.

On CX, you effectively need 210K in one go to reach DM.

From Green to Silver, you need 30K miles.

From Silver to Gold, you need another 60K miles.

From Gold to DM, you need another 120K miles.

You status miles zero'es down when you reach your next tier level.

that's a lot of miles!!!!0-210K took me 14 months, but that was doing some silly amount of business travel.

It's worth it when you get there though, particualrly based in HK and getting First Class Wing/Pier access before each flight at lowest published economy fare.

as of the moment, I have 120k flight miles in AA ( this year ), 105 k flight miles in Philippine airlines ( this year too ). And I did a lot of CX and PR flights.

once you hit 120K in a 12 month period did you ask to be set at CX DM?

No - it didn't occur to me at the time since the rules seemed quite explicit. But I was racking up miles so fast at that point it really didn't make much difference. In fact I seem to remember that it wasn't actually all on miles - at least one of the steps was on sectors: I was doing 4 CX sectors every single week for several months.
