Southwest Rapid Rewards - People PC credits come thru yet?

9/1/05: 4 RR credits if you sign up for Peoplepc. I did about mid September, but they haven't posted yet.

Has anyone gotten the credits?

I can't find anything on this thread or WN's site about the Peoplepc offer.

This is clearly explained in the offer terms:

Terms: New PeoplePC Online members or PeoplePC Online Accelerated members will receive 4 Rapid Rewards credits after the third paid month of service. You must remain in good standing in order to receive Rapid Rewards credits. Rapid Rewards Members must provide their account number at time of enrollment to receive credits. Four credits will be posted to your Rapid Rewards account within 4-6 weeks after you are billed for your third paid month of service.

I think I get billed on the first of the month - so that would put me in the range of late Nov-early Dec before getting my credits. Should be perfect timing to finish me off for my first CP!

*hangs head in embarassment* Sometimes it's just easier to post than to research. I was proud of myself for searching the thread for details, but didn't even THINK of checking the TERMS.

Well - I was billed for my third month of PeoplePC a few days ago... wonder if I can cancel now? or should I wait another 7-10 days?

I paid for sept-nov. i think that qualifies me according to the terms.

I was concerned about the language, and therefore passed. They may interpet you must be a "MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING WHEN creidts are issued.: If credits are not issued until 4-6 weeks after billed for 3rd month and you cancel before credits are posted - they may say you were not a member when credits were to be posted and just not issue them. IF so a catch 22 - you have to remain a paying member for a month extra to get credits. Too much uncertainty and hassle for me.

BUT GOOD LUCK, one never really knows until it happens. Keep us posted.

Any Updates for those that did this Promo?? How many payments did you have to make? Any hassle in follow up? Or is one of those "they make you pay more than you thought for the RR credits?"

So far - no credits yet. I could really use these within the next 3 weeks as I'm currently at 89 credits for my 12 mo CP earning window and I should be able to get my remaining 11 through partner credits and missing flights that just havent posted yet.

How many months did you pay for? Did you cancel after the min. period? Or are you still paying and using?
